Machining Technology Courses: Holemaking (Drilling / Thread Cutting / Thread Forming)

This course is designed for machine operators, programmers, and workshop managers. It covers the machining process for drilling small holes (up to 30xD), using drills with replaceable cutting inserts, tip drills and solid carbide drills.

The course teaches the classification of different drilling systems, helping the participants to understand the principles of efficient holemaking processes and providing targeted support for production planning. Calculation aids and digital support tools are used for this purpose.
